I couldn't be more thrilled—or, ya know, terrified—to announce that The F#@%ing Wright Brothers will be part of the 2018 NYC Fringe!
This raucous backstage musical of a play was originally developed and premiered in 2014 in Chicago with The New Colony (though in an earlier version under a different title.) Now NYC will get a chance to see a newly reimagined version helmed by phenomenal director Abigail Zealey Bess, produced by the excellent Glenn Krutoff (who produced the 2016 Fringe hit The Radicalization of Rolfe, directed by Abigail), and the 5 songs are written with composer Eric Svejcar.

"58 cities. Five actors. One van. A million crazy dreams. No one said paying your dues would be easy. On what they hope will be the road to success, a troupe performing a children’s theater musical about the Wright Brothers find themselves lost somewhere in America. Will they make it to New York—or will they destroy each other with professional rivalry, romantic jealousy, rampant drug use, credit card scams, and completely inappropriate hook-ups? The F#@%ing Wright Brothers explores how dreams survive when you know it’s time to grow up?
