From Bill Coyne's press release: "I am thrilled to share with you MuseMatch 4.0, a benefit for Manitou Experience Camps, Sat March 7th 11:30pm 54 Below.
I created MuseMatch because I saw a need in our community. So these 13 incredible singers meet with their matched composers, and take on the challenge of truly sharing themselves. They discuss their greatest strengths as humans and artists, and their greatest weaknesses. They share their deepest fears, and also their brightest hopes for the future of the world we live in. Based on these conversations, the composer writes a song inspired by what moves them, or resonates with them personally from the singer's story. This creates Authentic, hilarious, heart-rending, joyful, devastating, deeply personal and honest material. Something I feel that our community sorely needs.
The best part is: ALL OF THE PROCEEDS GO TO CHARITY. Everyone involved in this evening is donating their time and effort for the good of a community in need. Manitou Experience Camp is a one-week summer camp for children who have lost a parent, sibling or loved one that help build confidence, encourage laughter, and navigate grief through friendship, teamwork, activities, and the common bond of loss.
This evening has been and will be a magical and inspiring evening. So far we have created 45 new songs, forged 45 new collaborations (which have branched out into other projects), and raised thousands of dollars for Zara Aina, The Boys Club of Ny, and The Trevor Project.
Please join us and share in what will be an amazing night. For an amazing organization that restores the hearts of children who sorely need it.
A word can move the universe.
It's going to be a blast.
With Love,
Bill Coyne"
