So thrilled and honored that Yank! in Rio was nominated for 9 national theatre awards! Two of our actors Hugo Bonemer (Stu) and Leandro Terra (Artie) were nominated for acting awards - the only two actors from musicals to be so honored. In addition our cast, choreography, song (Regular Guys), orchestrations, tech, and oh yeah - THE ENTIRE MUSICAL FOR BEST MUSICAL - were nominated. I'm so glad our scrappy show has been noticed and remembered! Fingers crossed! - DZ
